LUMAWALL LEGAL

Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using LumaWall, from the desktop app and trial to accounts, licenses, and community uploads.

Effective September 2, 2026

TermsPrivacyCookiesRefundsAcceptable useDMCA

By accessing or using LumaWall, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The LumaWall service

LumaWall provides desktop wallpaper software, downloads, account and licensing tools, a community wallpaper library, creator uploads, and related websites and APIs. Features and platform support may change as the product develops.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use LumaWall for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. Keep account credentials secure, provide accurate information, and tell us through Support if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Trial and software license

Each eligible Mac may receive one 14-day trial. Reinstalling the app does not reset that device trial. LumaWall is sold as a Lifetime license: a one-time purchase that allows up to 2 active Macs at once, subject to these Terms. Monthly and Yearly plans bought before September 14, 2026 renew automatically until cancelled.

LumaWall grants the purchaser or subscriber a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the supported desktop software. You may move an activation by deactivating an old Mac. You may not sell, sublicense, copy for redistribution, bypass trial or activation controls, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits it, or use the software to operate a competing hosted service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of wallpaper media, descriptions, profile information, and other material you submit. You promise that you own that material or have the permissions needed to upload and share it.

You give LumaWall the rights reasonably needed to host, store, scan, process, preview, back up, and deliver your content. If you request public visibility, that permission also lets LumaWall display and distribute the content through Explore and related product surfaces. Private content is processed only to operate, secure, and support your account and the service. You may request removal through Support, subject to reasonable processing, backup, safety, and legal retention.

5. Purchases, taxes, and refunds

Prices and applicable taxes are shown before payment. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms; LumaWall receives transaction status and references needed to fulfill and support the purchase. Promotions cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

A Lifetime purchase can be refunded if the request is made within 7 days of purchase. For Monthly and Yearly plans bought before September 14, 2026, subscription charges, including renewals, have a 48-hour voluntary refund-request window. After those windows, the charge is non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not refund the current billing period. Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy.

6. Community rules and enforcement

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Public submissions may be reviewed automatically and manually before or after publication. We may reject, restrict, remove, or preserve content, and may limit or suspend access, when reasonably necessary to enforce these policies, protect people or the service, respond to legal process, or investigate abuse. You may ask for a review through Support.

7. Availability and updates

We work to keep LumaWall useful and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or operating-system release, or permanent availability of any community item. Updates may add, change, or remove features and may be required for security or compatibility.

8. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, LumaWall is provided “as is” and “as available.” You are responsible for choosing content appropriate for your devices and environment and for maintaining backups of files you cannot replace. LumaWall is not responsible for third-party content, services, or payment-provider decisions.

To the extent permitted by law, LumaWall will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

9. Ending use and changes

You may stop using LumaWall at any time. We may suspend or end access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, nonpayment, chargeback, or legal requirement. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment, disclaimers, and liability terms—survive termination.

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated through a reasonable product or website notice. Continued use after the new terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@lumawall.ca or submitted through Support. If that route is unavailable, use the feedback form and clearly identify your request as a legal or policy question.
