This policy does not reduce refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that apply where you live.
LumaWall is in a free public beta until the end of November 14, 2026, Toronto time. Beta participants are not charged, and nothing is sold on this website during the beta. Beta builds do not include the 14-day trial described in section 1. Purchases made during the beta, for example from inside the app, are covered by this policy as usual. While the license page is unavailable, email support@lumawall.ca to cancel a subscription.
1. Before purchasing
Each eligible computer can use one 14-day trial without a payment method. Use the trial to check operating-system compatibility, wallpaper playback, display behavior, and performance on the computer you intend to use.
2. Cancelling a subscription
LumaWall is now sold only as a one-time Lifetime purchase, which has nothing to cancel. This section applies to Monthly and Yearly plans bought before September 14, 2026.
Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until they are cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your license page while signed in. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, so the plan stays active and your Macs stay activated until the current period ends, and the renewal date is shown on that page. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund. Cancelling does not refund the current billing period. If you also want the most recent subscription charge reviewed, submit a separate request within 48 hours after that charge.
3. Refund windows
For a Lifetime purchase, a refund request must be submitted within 7 days after the purchase. After 7 days, the Lifetime purchase is non-refundable.
For Monthly and Yearly subscriptions bought before September 14, 2026, a voluntary refund request must be submitted within 48 hours after the subscription charge, including a renewal charge. After 48 hours, that subscription charge is non-refundable. We use the payment provider’s recorded charge time and the recorded time your request reaches LumaWall.
These limits do not apply where a refund, reversal, cancellation, or other remedy is required by applicable law. It also does not prevent us from correcting duplicate or unauthorized charges. Include the checkout email, payment provider, approximate charge date, and a description of the problem. Do not send full card, bank, wallet, password, or private-key details.
4. How requests are handled
Email the request to support@lumawall.ca with the subject “Refund request,” or submit it through Support. If that route is unavailable, use the feedback form and title it “Refund request.” We may ask for reasonable information to locate the transaction, verify account ownership, reproduce a technical issue, or prevent fraud.
Eligibility is assessed under applicable law, this policy, the reason for the request, product use, and payment-provider rules. A request is not automatically approved merely because it was submitted. We may first offer troubleshooting when a problem appears fixable.
5. Requests we may decline
Except where law requires otherwise, a Lifetime purchase is non-refundable after 7 days and a subscription charge after 48 hours. We may also decline requests involving abuse of the trial or licensing system, a completed purchase that worked as described, dissatisfaction with a community wallpaper created by another user, violation of the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, fraudulent information, or a transaction already refunded or reversed.
6. What happens after a refund
An approved refund is returned through the original payment provider when practical. Provider processing times, exchange-rate differences, and bank posting times are outside LumaWall’s control. The refunded license and its device activations may be deactivated, and continued use of the paid product after the refund is not authorized.
7. Payment disputes
Please contact Support before starting a chargeback so we have an opportunity to locate the purchase and resolve the issue. Nothing here prevents you from using rights available through your payment provider or applicable law. Duplicate recovery through both a refund and a payment dispute is not permitted.
